Lost Birds

well well well my two cents. From reading from the blue board to the black board and back again, I can see things arent looking too good. Please keep in mind the title when you read this. I  respect HtH and tracker both and can see both sides of what they are saying. Speaking from personal experience for me and my own. I know that when there is no one to teach and one who is looking to "make a connection", some reading can help you along the way a bit. a person can say look to your families and such, but if your not raised that way (Thank s  Holy Rollers" Do as I say not as I do")or no one claims them because of % of blood in them( let’s NOT go into tribal enrollment) or for the shame of how they came to being ( remember those 60’s, free love) So there you go, until people who are in the know realise this and want to share  ( What’s the use of having knowledge if one is unwilling to share? Elders? )Where is one to look. If you read the book "Lost Bird" (crap too?) you will realise that there are and will always be lost birds as long as people have that indifference to others that don’t live on the rez anymore or have moved away,or have lost the strong traditional values that made us a great nation. It took Lost Bird many years after her death to be accepted by her own people .
