I knew know an Eleye once
who spent more time in the clouds
than on earth
she traveled in a way strange
unable to get back to where she started
in Muskogee she was to attend a meeting
before it she ran to the kitchen
for a glass of water
placing her bundle upon the refrigerator
then forgetting it she drove off into the bush
halfway there she saw that her bundle was gone
then remembered it on top of the refrigerator
drove back to Muskogee To the refrigerator
to collect it
it of course wasn’t there
to this day she can’t find it
knows where it’s at
but can’t get back
